This questionnaire is designed to ask questions concerning the key areas where there are legal obligations or it is good practice. It is not possible to cover all aspects of the law and best practice in the questionnaire but hopefully by the time this exercise is completed you will have a good idea as to whether you are getting the basics right.
This questionnaire is designed to get you thinking about your Human Resource procedures and the law.
Getting the basics right will provide you with a lot of protection should you have to defend yourself before any of the bodies now given the responsibility to implement or decide on employment law matters.
Hopefully it will also enhance your working relationship with your staff as it will give clear direction in areas where you are dealing with staff related issues and also allow your staff to know how issues will be dealt with.
